Chamber Supported Events

The mission of our tourism events is to raise awareness of the Lakeland area as a retail shopping and business destination by creating continuity in promotion throughout the year. The Tourism Committee meets monthly at the Chamber office inside the “Welcome Center.”

Events are held in and around holidays, and customer appreciation events are held a few times a year.

Current events include:

• Milltown Mural Motorcade
• Milltown Open Golf Tournament
• Flatlanders Youth Fishing Derby
• Fishing for the Foundation SGMC fishing Tournament at Banks Lake 
• LAPS Haunted House 
• Lighting of Lakeland Christmas Parade
• Family Connections "Character" Breakfast
  

Milltown Motorcade

The Lakeland - Lanier County Chamber proudly supports and organizes the annual Milltown Motorcade held each year in April.
