The Real Life story behind the mural is ready for you to hear. You can now hear a mural's story at all locations.

Scan the QR Code and you will be taken back in time to 1925. Pick up a brochure at The Welcome Center with the code and map of the murals. 

All you need is a Smart Phone with a QR Code Reader. Apps are available for Apple and Droid phones.

For more information contact the Chamber in the Welcome Center while in town. When the Chamber is Closed Mural brochures are available just outside our front doors. You can also access online by CLICKING HERE.

Banks Lake at the edge of Lakeland's western city limits on GA 122 (ED Rivers Memorial Highway) is open to the visitors seven-days-a-week. The Banks Lakeland concession store "Banks Lake Outdoors" is open Saturday and Sunday 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.

  • The city has a total area of 3.1 square miles (8.0 km2), of which, 3.1 square miles (8.0 km2) of it is land and 0.04 square miles (0.10 km2) of it (1.28%) is water.
  • Lakeland is located at 31°2′21″N 83°4′13″W (31.039214, -83.070397)

Find Lanier Grown products for sale in Lakeland at the Welcome Center's "Trail 37" store and at the Banks Lake Outdoors "Trail 37" store. Look for them at other stops along the Georgia Grown Trail 37.
